Their mission is to contribute to the development of protected wild areas in Costa Rica, through the good management of resources and the promotion of the involvement of the different actors of the population, at the local, national and international levels.
The Fundación de Parques Nacionales in Costa Rica is an organization dedicated to the preservation and management of the country's national parks.
Its primary goal is to protect Costa Rica's unique biodiversity by conserving its natural ecosystems, ensuring the sustainability of its natural resources, and promoting environmental education.
Through its conservation efforts, the foundation helps maintain essential habitats for a multitude of animal and plant species while providing visitors with the opportunity to discover and appreciate the incomparable natural beauty of Costa Rica.
This objective is promote the creation, protection and development in general of protected natural areas, as well as promote and develop activities in the field of environmental education and scientific research. ✨
